Invest
Back the businesses that build people.
Our businesses are designed to pay residents real wages, teach real trades, and over time stand on their own. Capital that is patient and mission-aligned can help them start.
The basics
- Investment goes to the businesses, not the nonprofit. The nonprofit receives gifts and grants. Our for-profit company, TGT Enterprises, holds the businesses and is where investment would go.
- We start small. Our first planned business is a food truck, and early margins are thin, so loans, notes, or revenue-share structures may fit better than equity. Terms are not set.
- Everything in writing. If we make an offer, it will be through proper legal documents, reviewed by our securities attorney, and made only to people it is lawful to offer it to.
- You may lose money. These are early-stage businesses with no operating history.
This is not an offer. This website does not offer or sell securities and is not a solicitation of an investment. Any offer would be made only through formal documents. We haven't published amounts or terms for this reason.
Also useful, beyond money
Equipment financing, a food-truck vendor, a bookkeeper, a banker who knows small businesses, or an introduction to a foundation or lender can matter as much as a check. Join the network and tell us what you can bring.
